The Future is Here

It's been a year to the day since we created this blog in anticipation of when it was our time to have children. We're overjoyed to finally have a reason to update it. We have only been trying to get pregnant since February of this year. Who knew it would only take a month?

We're Pregnant!

The pregnancy test came up positive.

I was working at the Chicago White Sox season home opener today. When I got home Erica coaxed me upstairs where I found the pregnancy test on our bed, along with an "I Love Daddy" bib and the book My Boys Can Swim by Ian Davis. Needless to say I was surprised, scared to death and then happier than I've ever felt in my life (all within a span of about 10 seconds).
