The girls are getting so big!That teddy bear keeps looking smaller and smaller next to them. They are so cute, and their hair is a little wavy! Right? Jake and I enjoyed watching the videos last night, especially the one of Gary chatting it up with Lizzy. She is talking so much. Oh my goodness, that is so good. That is great that you got it on camera. We miss you guys. Who knows when we will see you next, but with each new post you put up we realize that it needs to be SOON!!! Love you guys.
Hey Erica, I don't think I have your email address anywhere so I'm commenting back here about the photos. I have been shooting my pictures in RAW with Auto White Balance then I correct them in Photoshop's RAW editor. I recently upgraded from a Rebel to the Canon 50D and the 50D does such a better job at AWB!
For the pics I posted today, I just used AWB but when I switched to manual, I overexposed by 1/2 stop. I read somewhere that taking portraits of people, slightly overexposing helps even out the skin tones.
I am such a newbie that I am learning little bits at a time!!
Oh also, I don't use any lighting except natural light. I turn off lights because it's harder to figure out white balance when you have different light sources.
Basically I just plopped the boys in front of a window and gave them jelly beans to sit still!!
